Bacon Date Brownies

Bacon Date Brownies


Ingredients:

  • - 20 Dates, pits removed
  • - 2 TBSP Unsweetened Dark Chocolate Cocoa
  • - 4 TBSP Unsweetened Cocoa
  • - 1/2 cup Coconut Cream Concentrate
  • - 4 Eggs
  • - 1/4 cup Coconut Flour
  • - 1/4 TSP Baking Powder
  • - 1/4 TSP Baking Soda
  • - 9 slices cooked Bacon, broken into pieces
  • - 2/3rds of 3oz Dark Chocolate Bar (about 1.8oz), roughly chopped

  • Method:

      Soak dates for at least 1 hour in filtered water to soften. Once softened, drain and add dates to a food processor and chop roughly. Add cocoa and coconut cream and blend until a ball forms. Add eggs and blend further. Add coconut flour, baking powder, baking soda, bacon and dark chocolate and blend until everything is fully blended and like brownie batter. Spread evenly in a greased 9x9 baking dish and bake 40 minutes on 350 degrees.
