Crockpot Brussels Sprouts


Ingredients:

  • - 1 lb. Brussels Sprouts
  • - 1/2 stalk Leeks
  • - 3 Carrots
  • - 1 Large Garlic Cloves
  • - 1 Apple
  • - 1 TBSP Butter, Coconut oil or Tallow
  • - ½ Cup Apple Juice
  • - ½ Cup Broth
  • - 1 lb Sausage
  • - Salt and Pepper to taste

  • Method:

      In a food processor, slice Brussel Sprouts, Leek, Carrots, Garlic and Apple and dump into a Crockpot. Add to the sliced vegetables the Butter/Oil/Tallow, Apple juice, Chicken broth, Sausage and salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 4 hours on low.
