Paleo Tacos


Ingredients:

  • - 1 lb. Ground Turkey or Lamb
  • - 1 Sweet Pepper, diced
  • - 1/2 Onion, diced
  • - 2 cloves Garlic, diced
  • - 1 Tomato, runny parts removed and diced
  • - 1/2 TSP Chili Powder
  • - 1/2 TSP Smoked Paprika
  • - 1/2 TSP ground Cumin
  • - 1/2 TSP Salt
  • - Optional: Cayenne Pepper, to taste
  • - Several sturdy Lettuce leaves
  • - 1/2 lime, halved or quartered

  • Method:

      Saute pepper, onion, garlic and tomato until soft (about 5 minutes) in coconut oil or other oil of choice. Add spices and ground meat and cook until the meat is cooked through.

      Serve on a Lettuce leaf. Add a squeeze of lime to serve.
